The Annual Church service of KCOBA ( Toronto ) was held at St. David 's Anglican Church in Toronto on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 10:00 AM . The Rev. Canon James R. Garland welcomed the KCOBA members/affiliates in attendance and mentioned that he was a good friend of former KC Headmaster, Rev. Dr. John McNab , who now resides in the Toronto suburb of Pickering . KCOBA ( Toronto ) President, Lance Seymour read the second lesson taken from 1st John Chapter 5, Verses 1 - 6. KC Old Boy Gerry Lindo gave a stirring solo rendition of the gospel standard "Just a Closer Walk with Thee".

As customary, KCOBA ( Toronto ) hosted an after service reception for the St. David 's congregation. The meal consisted of scrumptious servings of jerk chicken and pork prepared by resident chef the good Dr. "Buddy" McIntosh; the traditional and tasty "festival" dumplings and a large purple and white cake courtesy of KC Old Boy Eddie Patterson and his lovely wife Jean; slices of hard dough bread supplied by former KCOBA (Toronto) President, Norman Wallace and topped off by refreshing fruit juice supplied by former (KCOBA) Toronto Vice President and local entrepreneur Alex "Franno" Francis.
