World acclaimed painter and KC Old Boy, Barrington Watson, had the opening of his newest gallery at 75 Old Hope Road , Kingston 5, Jamaica , on Saturday, May 27, 2006 . This is the fourth location of Gallery Barrington starting with the earliest at Union Square in Cross Roads. It features an aesthetically designed 4000 square foot single storey building housing a studio, prints and framing quarters, administrative offices, a sunken Brazilian hard floor gallery and three adjacent showrooms. The gallery displayed the paintings of the Musgrave gold medallist and those of his daughter, Jan , as well as the sculptures of his two acclaimed sons, Basil and Raymond . Guests were enthralled with displays such as the portrait of Bob Marley , the sculpture of Michael Holding , the famous painting of Shock attack and the voluptuous Wet T-Shirt & Girl with Hibiscus among many others .

The left annex of the front lawn features a display of the sculptures by Raymond Watson . Next to the front perimeter wall are two triangular foundations which will provide the platform for two imposing sculptures to be crafted by Raymond and Basil : one being The Wailers and the other the naming of which was not divulged to the author.

Many well wishers and friends from Barrington 's alma mater, Kingston College , were at the opening. These included Micky Murdoch, Churchill Neita , Freddy Green and Basil Waite .
