We regret the passing of Hopkin Anthony Laman, brother of KCOBA Newsletter editor, Glen Laman, on April 28th, 2006, in Miami, Florida at the age of 68. Born in Gayle, St. Mary, Jamaica, he had a successful career as a businessman and was active in community affairs. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his two daughters: Suzanne and Heike; his son, Christian; his grandson, Brian and Margaret’s two children, Linda and Danny. He also leaves behind several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Lucille Davidson
Mrs. Lucille Vernon-Davidson affectionately known as "Mama Luby" was born on July 21,1909 in the district of Little London, Westmoreland. One of three children for Lena Jane Vernon and Henry Vernon . She was an exceptional Lady who lived a long and extemporary life. Her adult life was devoted to service of others her family, church family and strangers.
Her only child, my father, the late Captain Edward Withmore Adams, predeceased her on Holy Thursday March 24, 2005 .Mama Luby left us a year and week after Holy Thursday on April 27, 2006.
She will be sadly missed by my mother Daphne Adams her Daughter in Law , her six grand children Polly , Junior, Earl, Marie, Dimples, and Ian along with her 15 great grandchildren, all of whom benefited immensely from her long life of sharing and caring. . May her soul rest in peace.

Oliver "Rasta" Harrison
Oliver "Rasta" Harrison , KC headboy in 1975, died from a massive heart attack on Saturday, May 13 th , 2006 whilst awaiting treatment at Nuthall Hospital in Kingston , Jamaica . Oliver's two sons attend KC and one of them, Christopher, played on the winning 2006 Pepsi U14 team. Oliver was headboy in the year that 'one foot' Bally Reid captured that famous double at Champs in the 100 and 200 meters and also led KC to the football triple crown.
Wayne Hector passed away recently in Jamaica . Wayne is the brother of the late Karl Hector; both of them were very active in the NY KCOBA Chapter. His younger brother, Patrick Hector, is a past president of the Atlanta chapter and was also a member of the NY Chapter before he left New York . Wayne was nicknamed "Big Bull" when he was at KC. His funeral service took place at St. Augustine 's Chapel at Kingston College on Saturday, March 20 th 2006 .
