Melbourne, Australia.(Brittnee is at the far right)
The arena was packed solid with Australians coming to cheer their gymnastic team to victory; but included in that audience was a meager number of Canadians cheering on the Canadian team. THEY HAD A LOT TO CHEER FOR!!!!!
The Canadian Team met its first performance objective at the Commonwealth Games by winning the Bronze medal during the Team competition. Canada ranked second on Vault and Balance Beam with third on Uneven Bars and fourth on Floor Exercise.
Brittnee, the daughter of KC Old Boy and Former KCOBA (Toronto) Board Member, is very pleased that she had the opportunity to achieve this milestone of helping her team winning the BRONZE MEDAL at her first Commonwealth game. This is now history, Brittnee returned to Toronto on March 23rd, 2006 where she will be able to take time to reflect on this yet another major sport achievement.
We congratulate Brittnee on bringing home the Bronze medal to Canada, and continue to encourage her.
