KCOBA (Toronto) held their 33rd Reunion and Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Delta Toronto West Hotel. The evening was a tremendous success and was one of the best attended in recent memory. Awards were presented to Dr. Mavis Burke, a past history teacher at KC, for her tremendous work in early childhood education and to Brittnee Habbib, daughter of KC old boy Wayne Habbib, for her outstanding accomplishment as an international gymnast.

Organizations represented at the function included JIS, Jamaica National, other Jamaican Alumni Associations and our KCOBA brothers from New York in the persons of Norman Scott, Carl Scott and Leighton Hollar. A special 50/50 draw to raise funds for the helping hands project in aid of the Melbourne Campus netted over $800 thanks to the generosity of the winner KC Old Boy Dr. Trevor (Tony) Mair who donated his entire winnings to the cause.
