Kingston College notched its 8th win in the annual school’s challenge competition broadcasted recently on TVJ. In so doing KC extended its streak as the school with the most wins in the competition.
This year’s team of Andre Williams, Naveed Samuda, Rohan Lawrence and captain Dusean Harriot triumphed over last year’s winner Calabar High School which was anticipating a fourth consecutive win.
In addition to the coveted trophy, the spoils of victory included:
A month's supply of CB chicken for the school's canteen
A computer
An all-expense paid trip for the team to Minneapolis, Minnesota in the US
$100,000
Gift baskets from Lasco.
Digicel phones with $18,000 worth of calling credit for the team and coaches.
