Having fun on Games Night

"This was fun!"  "I had a good time!"  These are just a few of the comments overheard at what might very well be the "First Annual" Queen's Alumnae Atlanta Chapter's Family Games Night on March 31, 2007 at the Hillside Presbyterian Church Hall in Decatur, Georgia.  Dozens of people - families of all ages - turned out to play Monopoly, Checkers, Ludo, Dominoes, Jenga, Twister, Cards, Scrabble and other games at our first fund-raiser for the year.  The children in particular had a ball in the Moonwalk House outside, before coming in and trying all kinds of games.   Food was also on hand to keep the participants going.

Many, many thanks to all members who brought games, tables and food and helped to set-up, serve, supervise and cleanup.  Special thanks to Lisa Cox for her wonderful efforts in securing sponsorship and to Sharon Mullings, who got us a tray of chicken from Captain Mike's. In terms of fun - the evening was a definite success.  We're not sure just yet how we did at the gate so we need everyone to send in their receipts from ticket sales as soon as possible.

Next up - our 7th Annual Walk-a-thon at Stone Mountain Park on May 12th.  See you there!
