Congarts to David Hunt ,coach on the Jamaica U17 football team which registered a historic 2-0 victory over their Mexican counterpart in an internationl friendly at Harbour View on Friday February 16 at the Harbour View mini stadium. The victory was considered historic as it marked the first time in its history that Jamaica was beating Mexico at that age group level and considering that the Aztecans are the defending world championa. Another KCOB,Vin Blaine is mananger of the national U17 squad. Jamaica used the match as a warm up for the qualifying zone round which kicks off on April 28 in Jamaica . The three top teams from this zone will qualify for the u17 world youth tournament in Seoul,Korea in September . Other countries of the zone comprised,Trinidad and Tobago,Costa Rica,Canada and USA."
