Graduation 2007

The Graduation ceremony for KC’s class of 2007 was held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral on North Street in Kingston on June 24, 2007.  

Guest speaker for the occasion was KC Old Boy and New York State Assemblyman for Orange County, the Honorable Noel Spencer. He was introduced by Mr. Crafton Miller, Chairman of the school’s Board of Governors.

 The principal’s remarks were given by Mr. Rupert Hemmings; the valedictory address was given by Damion Anglin while Dr. Patricia Spencer distributed the certificates. Father Abner Powell offered a prayer at the beginning and a blessing at the conclusion of the ceremonies.

Mrs. Sheila Hoo Sang, Guidance Counselor, was the recipient of a special presentation as the evening’s Honoree.

The principal’s award for Student of the Year went to Danian Hylton while the vice principal’s award for the most improved student was captured by Demar Morgan. Valedictorian, Damion Anglin, received the Coordinators’ award for most cooperative student.

Sixty four students received a diploma with honors from Acting vice Principal Ms. Helen Douglas.

A musical interlude was provided by pianist, Kemroy Allen and a choral selection was sung by the Kingston College Chapel choir.   The graduation class was led by Chad Infante and Nicholas Haughton in singing a selection. Miss Stephanie Tulloch also sang a selection.

The vote of thanks was given by Chris-de-Vaun Parker.
