KCOB Named Coach of National Female U17 Football Team
Junior Francis
KCOB Junior Francis was recently named coach of the National Women’s U17 Football Team. He is currently the first vice-president of Reno FC, chairman of the technical committee, a member of the coaching staff and the head coach for Reno's female team.
Francis has been involved in coaching for nearly 26 years.
He coached JPS and Water Commission in Business House and Premier League clubs Cavaliers and Santos. His female coaching career started at UWI Pelican in 1991. He was the first to introduce female football at the collegiate level, coaching at Taylor Hall and Preston Hall. He was also the head coach of the UWI Pelican Club team and Merl Grove High in 1997. He was coach of competition winner Queen's High School in 1978.
At Kingston College, Francis played on the school’s Manning Cup team from 1975 until 1978.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and masters in business administration.
