The annual church service for the KCOBA (Toronto) Chapter was held Sunday, May 25th, 2008 at the St. David’s Anglican Church in Toronto. The sermon was delivered by The Reverend Canon James R. Garland, a good friend of former KC Headmaster, The Reverend Dr. John McNab.
The event was a fitting tribute to the 35th anniversary of KCOBA (Toronto) and was well supported by members including those from the extended Fortis family highlighted by the presence of Mrs. MacDonald, the widow of the late Mr. Edward MacDonald, former math and geography teacher at KC.
President, Lance Seymour brought greetings on behalf of KCOBA (Toronto) and Dale Keizs read the first lesson. Gerald Lindo received a rousing ovation for his solo rendition. The traditional refreshments at the end of the service, sponsored by KCOBA (Toronto) were well received by all in attendance.
