The Executive Committee of the Kingston and St. Andrew Masters Football League Association (KSAMLA) has voted to induct Trevor "Jumpy" Harris into the KSAMLA Hall of Fame on Sunday, November 2 at the Barbican Oval. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will precede a KSAMLA Hall of Fame Game between the KSAMLA All Masters and the Kingston College Old Boy's Masters.
Trevor Harris' sports goods company, Sports World Limited, was the first sponsors of the KSAMLA Masters League in its inaugural year in 1986, and is credited with laying the solid foundation that has made the Kingston and St. Andrew Masters Football League the success story it is today. Along with outfitting all the teams in the League, Sports World's sponsorship also included the payment of referee's fees.
Besides sponsoring the KSAMLA Masters League from 1986 through 1992, Sports World also assisted in formulating the vision of the League which was to offer former Jamaican international football players an avenue to continue playing, and to have them give back to the younger players through inner-city football clinics and summer programs.
Trevor Harris is a 1965 graduate of Kingston College (KC) where he represented "Fortis" in both Manning Cup football and Sunlight Cup cricket. "Jumpy" was a member of the legendary KC Manning Cup team that won back-to-back ISSA schoolboy triple-championship titles in 1964 and 1965. In 1964 and again in 1965, KC repeated as Manning Cup, Walker Cup, and Oliver Shield champions, and in 1965, KC had the unique distinction of having ten of its Manning Cup players on both the All Manning and the All Schools teams.
In 1965, "Jumpy" created quite a stir when he scored 20 goals for the Manning Cup season to erase the 19 goals record held by Osmond "Azi" Kerr of Kingston Technical High School. Jumpy was also a member of the 1964 and 1965 All Manning and All Schools teams, and also won the Sunlight Cricket Cup at Kingston College in 1962 and 1964.
In 1966, Mr. Harris made his international debut for the Jamaica senior football team under Coach George Pena against America of Brazil, and sensationally scored the only goal of the game as Jamaica edged the Brazilians 1-0 at "The Office". Trevor Harris was also a member of the Jamaica football team at the 1966 Pan American Games in Puerto Rico. Locally, Trevor Harris represented Railway FC and Santos FC in the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Division I competition, and also Harbour View FC in the KSAFA Major League.

Mr. Harris served as the Technical Director (TD) of Vaz Prep School for twenty-five years, and led Vaz Prep to seven Prep school football titles before retiring in 2007. Trevor "Jumpy" Harris is also a member of the Kingston College Sporting Hall of Fame, and will be the third person to be inducted into the KSAMLA Hall of Fame. In 2007, deceased Jamaican international football coach and player, Peter "Jair" Cargill, and deceased KSAMLA Treasurer, Ruddy Thelwell, both entered the KSAMLA Hall of Fame, posthumously.
