fter a week’s postponement due to hurricane Gastav, the Roper Cup Football Festival was held on September 6th, 2008 at Emmett Park, St. George’s College.
In 2003 two more games were added to the Roper Cup Football Festival--the Under-14 and the Under-16 teams. These two teams play for the George Thompson Cup.
In the opener KC won 2-0. St. George’s College won the Under-16 game by the same score. The aggregate score for the two games was 2-2 so the George Thompson Cup will be shared by KC and St. George’s.

The first leg of the Roper Cup the Under-35 game ended in a 2-2 draw.
St. George's won the Pacho Rankin Cup for over 35
The KC Over-35 (young boys) lost 1-0 to the STGC (young boys). This is the first in time in years KC lost the Pancho Rankin Cup.
St. George's Manning Cup team show off the Roper Cup
In the final leg of the Roper Cup KC’s Manning Cup team lost 2-1 after misfiring on numerous scoring opportunities. St. George’s College retained the Roper Cup on the aggregate score of 4-3.
