The annual Roper Cup soccer match between KC old boys and St. George's College old boys in Toronto was played on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Father Michael McGivney Catholic School, 5300 14th Avenue in Markham. A minute of silence was observed piror to the start of the match in memory of the late great KC old boy and coach George Thompson.
Kingston College avenged the defeat of last year by soundly trouncing the Georgians 3 goals to nil. It was a most enjoyable evening for all those in attendance.
