he year 2009 is quickly moving away from us. With just a little over one month before we usher in the year 2010, I hope everyone has made substantial progress on all those New Year’s resolutions that were proudly proclaimed at the beginning of the year.
There are quite a few things on our list yet to be completed for the newsletter and it looks like some will join next year’s list as we are almost out of time for this year. I am trying to think how the Jamaican saying “time is longer than rope” applies in this case.
Kudos to Derrick R. Wright, one of our long time editors, for his behind the scenes efforts to improve our production process and bring much needed efficiency to the publishing of the KC Times each month. Be sure read Derrick’s piece in this issue on how to submit articles to the newsletter if you are interested being considered for publication.
We hope to have a new look and feel early in the New Year, so stay tuned.
