The KC Old Boys of Atlanta, in Association with Jamaica Awareness, will be bringing the multi-award winning play, Jamaica 2 Rahtid, to Atlanta for Mother's Day.
According to the Jamaica Observer, Aston Cooke's play " is a hilarious musical revue which takes a funny look at Jamaica's state of affairs. Earlier this year, the play walked off with four national Actor Boy awards for best comedy, best review, best musical score and best song. There is something in this production for everyone in the family."
The Gleaner describes the play as "outrageoulsy hilarious."
Jamaica 2 Rahtid has played to sold out audiences in Miami and standing room only crowds in New York.
The dynamic cast includes popular comedy actors Dahlia Harris, Christopher Daley, Christopher McFarlane, Zandriann Maye and Everaldo Creary.
Atlantans can see Jamaica 2 Rahtid at the Shiloh High School Performing Arts Center in Snellville. The laughter starts at 4:00 pm. on Mother's Day. A second show will begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $35 regular and $40 for reserved seating.
