oward Depass, KC old Boy, Atlanta area resident and a father of four was killed in a hit and run crash. “He was a great guy…very loving,” said Candace Depass, the victim’s daughter. Candace Depass said it is hard for her to talk about her father in the past tense.
On Saturday, September 26th, 2009 he was supposed to come home from work. Instead, the family got a call from police that the driver of a stolen Expedition was trying to pass another car along Loganville Highway and Esplanade Way and slammed head-on into Howard Depass -- killing him.
A memorial service was held in Atlanta and his body was then transported to Silver Springs, Maryland for Funeral services.
Howard was 47. He had planned to attend this year's Purple Session in Florida for a Class of '78 reunion.
