Prominent KC old boy and attorney, Gresford Jones , was laid to rest on Thursday, December 22. Funeral services were held at the St. Andrew Parish Church in Jamaica . Gresford started KC in the year 1931 and has been associated with the school for over 74 years.
The Kingston College family mourns the passing of a great K.C. servant and emblem. Gresford Jones was a supreme K.C. patriot and builder. He was a Member of the Board of Managers for many years and gave of his legal skills and experience in the governance of the School.
The KCDTF pays tribute to him as one of the conceptualizers and foundation Members of the Trust. He served for many years as a Director and was a Member up to the time of his death. Whatever the Trust Fund has been able to achieve is in large measure due to his contribution.
Gresford's example of loyalty and support to his Alma Mater will continue to inspire generations to come. We pray that his soul will find rest and that God will supply strength to his widow and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
