Construction Resumes on Melbourne Building

Work has resumed on the construction of the Melbourne Social Services Building.
After interminable delays work has begun on what everyone hopes is the last phase of the Melbourne Social Services Building. The project is being championed by the tireless leader of the Florida chapter, Audley Hewitt.
The current project schedule predicts a completion date over the summer of 2008.

Atlanta Banquet Planned for June 14th, 2008

Ambassador Anthony Johnson
The KCOBA Atlanta Chapter will hold its Eight Annual Reunion & Awards Banquet on June 14th, 2008 at the Perimeter Holiday Inn Select in Dunwoody.
Guest speaker will be his Excellency, Anthony Johnson, the Ambassador to the United States.
Music will be provided by another KC old boy, DJ Migrane. Our Honoree will be Atlanta Dentist Dr. Marc Roberts. Awards for community service will be presented to Karl Chambers, President of Integrity Children’s Fund and Derrick Harvey, President of the Atlanta Jamaica Association.
Awards for service to the Atlanta chapter will go to Mrs. Alicia Adams, Mrs. Arlene Barrett, Mrs. Toni Laman, Mrs. Jo-Ann McNish and Mrs. Merthella Wright.
Punta Cana Trip
