Love our children, and teach them values.
Don’t be afraid to punish them, because we were punished as children, and none of us are today a menace to society.
Right now in the society in which we live, the youngsters are only thinking about drugs, guns and sex. read more »

by Lance Seymour

KCOBA New York
Lance Seymour

Once again, we meet to reflect on the past fiscal year and elect a new board of directors to chart our course going forward. It is not often that resolutions recommending amendments to our by-laws are on the agenda. However, such is the case this year as we seek to clarify the role, responsibility and privileges of our Life Director designation. The KC community is saddened at the passing of Jimmy Grant, a track & field giant from the 1960’s-some of the greatest years of Track & Field at KC. I can still recall sitting in the stands at the National Stadium for “Champs” and the hush before a race that Jimmy was competing in. What a thrill it was to witness the ease and grace with which he won his races. . read more »

Guess Who?

Cuess Who
This is a tough one. Let's see who among our readers can rise to the challenge of identifying some or all of the individuals in this photo. You will have to dig deep into the archives of KC history to solve this one. Send your submissions to our resident Historian and esteemed colleague Winston Stewart at messengjah@msn.com. Not even the illustrious Basil Waite could solve this one. Good Luck. EA .
